Six satisfyingly weighty tumblers, each pressed from crystal-clear French glass and lifted on a solid pedestal foot. The straight-walled bowl (9 cm high, 6 cm wide) slips neatly into the hand while the dense base keeps cocktails, water or a late-night whisky anchored and cool. Their understated geometry makes easy company for both rustic linen and crisp white tableware.
Produced by Verrerie d’Arques under the Arcoroc banner — a line launched in 1963 when the factory pioneered toughened glass for busy cafés and hotels — the Cavalier range epitomised everyday resilience with a modern edge. Decades on, the pieces remain popular for their durability and effortlessly minimal profile. Cluster them on an open shelf for a quiet, sculptural statement or press them back into service for negronis, espresso affogato or even bedside blooms.
Condition:
Very Good - glass remains bright and clear; no chips or clouding, only faint shelf-ring wear beneath the feet.
