Mouth-blown and hot-worked in the furnace, this dramatic vase erupts from a narrow foot into six fluid lobes that swirl and freeze mid-splash. The glass carries the faint sea-green tint of Bohemian sand, magnifying every rippled fold and catching daylight in liquid ribbons. Standing 27 cm tall, it makes a statement even before a single stem is added.

The design language points to Josef Hospodka, chief designer at Chribska glassworks during the 1960s, whose sculptural forms pushed Czech glass onto the world stage. Each piece was free-formed at the pontil, so no two are identical—a testament to the skill of the glass-blower rather than a mould. Style it solo on a credenza, cluster it with coloured Murano pieces for contrast, or let it cradle a loose bunch of garden branches for an effortless mid-century vignette.
