Silver plate with a hint of harvest: a slim 16 cm coaster-dish edged by two sculptural grape clusters and broad enough to cradle bonbons, a small round of cheese or the base of a wine bottle. The shallow well keeps crumbs—or condensation—in check while the rim catches candlelight in soft reflections.

Electro-Plated Nickel Silver (EPNS) dominated British table silver after WWII, marrying sterling sheen with everyday durability. Sheffield workshops revived 18th-century Rococo scrolls and vineyard motifs for celebratory pieces like this—perfect for dressing a drinks trolley or elevating salt-caramel truffles on the coffee table. A mellow patina remains, ready to polish bright or leave as-is for a lived-in gleam.

Condition:

Good - plating intact but displays scattered tarnish spots and light surface scratches; no dents, appliqués firmly fixed
